Learn how to manage an event from start to finish by contributing to a real-world project.
You are passionate about the events industry and aim to turn it into your career. However, you recognise that you may still lack the skills, certification and professional network required to succeed. This is precisely why SAWI created its Event Management program.
Each session of the SAWI Event Management program is unique. Thanks to an exclusive partnership, you will learn in real-world conditions. Depending on the session, you will have the opportunity to work on a music festival, a sports event or a cultural event.
This hands-on experience enables you to develop practical expertise and build a strong professional portfolio, while earning a SAWI diploma recognised by Swiss employers.
You will develop true expertise in event management. You will gain:

Objectifs de la formation
By the end of the programme, you will be able to:
- lead the full event lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery, including the development of detailed project timelines
- implement multi-channel communication strategies to build a strong brand identity and maximise visibility on social media
- oversee on-site logistics and security, ensuring full compliance of infrastructures during setup and dismantling
- coordinate stakeholders by aligning volunteers, suppliers and sponsors, while effectively controlling budgets
- leverage AI tools and innovative technologies to automate processes and enhance the efficiency of event management
- analyze and address the challenges and logistical complexities of large-scale events
- anticipate risks and manage critical situations with agility to ensure event continuity in the face of unforeseen circumstances
- design and deliver immersive and memorable experiences by optimising every stage of the customer journey

Prérequis
To be eligible, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Completed upper secondary education AND at least two years of professional experience in marketing, communication, event management or sponsorship
- A higher education qualification in business or economics (Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences – HES)
Modalités pédagogiques
94 hours over approximately 5 months, plus independent study

Classes take place on-site:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- One to two Saturdays per month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., depending on the session
- Attendance at the partner event venue (date scheduled in advance)

Note: In cases of force majeure or to meet specific requirements, the Institute reserves the right to schedule certain sessions outside these time slots.

Modalités d'évaluation et de suivi
Die Ausbildung führt zu einem SAWI-Diplom unter folgenden Bedingungen:
- Anwesenheitsquote von mindestens 80 %
- Bestätigung eines individuellen Multiple-Choice-Tests
- Bestätigung einer mündlichen Gruppenprüfung auf der Grundlage einer spezifischen Gruppenarbeit im Zusammenhang mit der Veranstaltung
